First Aid

  • Nurses can provide first aid.
  • You can rest on a bed if you are not feeling well.

Dental Counseling (appointment unnecessary): 1:30 pm–3:00 pm

Once a month (the first or second Wednesday), dental counseling is provided by a specialist of the Department of Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Gifu University Hospital. Please feel free to consult with a specialist.

We offer counseling by an accredited dietitian.

For students who cook for themselves or concerns about meals and body weight, please feel free to consult with us.

Other Services

  • We lend first-aid kits necessary for student activities (appointment required).
  • We have electronic self-measuring monitors for measuring height, weight, body composition including fat and muscle mass, blood pressure, and visual acuity.
  • We offer a variety of brochures, books, and DVDs related to health promotions.

FAQ

Does it cost money to consult the center if I am injured or feeling sick?
All services at the Health Administration Center are free of charge. This includes counseling by a physician or clinical psychologist, including prescriptions, hospital referrals, and first aid. You can also rest in a bed at the center if you are feeling sick.
Can I visit the Health Administration Center for follow-up examination or treatment?
If you require any examination or chronic treatment, the center will refer you to appropriate medical institutions.
Do I need to bring my national health insurance card?
You do not need your health insurance card. However, you will need it for hospital services to which the center may refer you.
Will the Health Administration Center write me a referral to Gifu University Hospital?
If you need to be examined or treated at Gifu University Hospital, the Health Administration Center will write you a referral. Any services you receive at the University Hospital will be treated as a greturn visit.h Therefore, you will not be billed for the initial visit fee.
